Finances
The Norwich Lions Club applies all of the funds that it receives (less prizes and other fund-raising costs for goods and services, like fair equipment rental or hiring music groups) to the programs that it supports. Of these, 80 % are applied to programs in our community, 10 % are in support of Lions Club International priorities, like public health programs and disaster relief, and 10% go toward Lions programs in Vermont. The allotment of funds received is determined by the board of directors.
All administrative expenses, membership fees, meals, Lions paraphernalia, etc. are paid for by individual members through their dues and other contributions.
